Ambassador Waiver and Community Guidelines
Before submitting your application, you must read our waiver and community guidelines thoroughly. By applying for The Humble Wagon's Ambassador Program, you agree to these guidelines.
Hello and Welcome!
Our community starts online! In order to better connect with the people in our Humble Family, we ask that all Ambassadors leave their Instagram accounts public for the duration of their time as an Ambassador.
On the 10th of each month, we host and celebrate one "Humble Day" where all Ambassadors post on their personal Instagram accounts. Humble Days are the only mandatory campaign Ambassadors must participate in. You may tag us @TheHumbleWagon and use the hashtag #TheHumbleWagon.
We ask each Ambassador to post on 3 Humble Days which equals 3 Instagram posts over a 3 month time span! (1 per month).
This will also be your duration of your time with us as an Ambassador. If you wish to continue your time with us, please email ambassador@thehumblewagon.com with your full name, your Instagram username and the two unique codes we have assigned to you. Your email will be reviewed and you will receive a response within 5-10 business days.
Keep in mind that Humble Days are NOT sponsored or ad posts. Our hope is that you would simply post a picture of you wearing/using your product(s) and tag @TheHumbleWagon, #TheHumbleWagon and #HumbleDay. We want to see who you are and how you're using these products to help inspire the world!
Communication - Slack App
Community is a huge part of being an Ambassador for The Humble Wagon and we hope that you play a part in building our growing tribe!
We use a messaging app called Slack to connect the members of our community.
All Ambassadors download the Slack app for the duration of each term as a way to communicate with us and each other!
Like any app, with Slack you are in control of how much information you give and receive, but we hope you will do your very best to contribute to The Humble Wagon Slack communication as much as possible!
Our messaging system is a great time, but we know you may be busy so if you're unable to chat all day long - we totally understand!
Discounts
If you are offered an Ambassador position, you will be given a code for 30% off that applies to any order value of $15 USD or more! This is the biggest discount we offer to anyone!
We ask that you do not share your 30% off code with any friends, family, or loved ones. Your code is unique and attached with your information. If any other information (that's not yours) is used with your personal code, a result of permanent removal from the program will occur.
The good news is that you will be given another unique code (a coupon code) to share with your friends, family and followers!
Please note, that both codes have expiration dates and are only usable during your term as an Ambassador. Your term begins after we send your approval email and your expiration date will be located at the bottom of the email.
Growth
We are always working to grow our community and message, and Ambassadors play an important role in this process!
We hope Ambassadors will be comfortable talking to their friends and family about The Humble Wagon! We also hope you will feel comfortable interacting and sharing The Humble Wagon's social media as well as openly sharing ideas. We love hearing from you, so all feedback is certainly welcome!
Age Requirement
You must be at least 16 years of age to participate in this program. If you are under the age of 18, we want to be sure your parent(s) or guardian(s) are aware of, and have agreed to, your participating.
If you are under the age of 18, we will send a consent form via email directly to your parent/guardian for them to sign, scan (mobile scan is accepted) and email back to us.
Payment
This is not a paid position. Ambassadors are not employed by The Humble Wagon.
Our goal is to build a community by offering the opportunity with other like-minded individuals! We hope that you learn and gain a lot by being apart of this growing community and that it works well for you!
We hope you stay with us for the whole duration of your term, but you may leave the program at any time if you feel that it's not for you.
Liability
You are responsible for yourself and your belongings. The Humble Wagon does not accept any liability for results or effects of the activities that you may participate in.
If you become an Ambassador, we would expect that you participate in all of the Humble Days - which brings this community together and allows us to grow!
All Ambassadors must honor our Community Guidelines to participate in the program (listed below under "Community Guidelines").
Social media is a staple for us and will enable you to participate! Please know that we may want to use and share your content which becomes the property of The Humble Wagon and we cannot compensate you for any of it whether we or not we use it.
Communication is another big staple! By applying to our program, you are consenting to communication with us through email and a variety of apps including but not limited to Slack, Zoom, and Google Hangout.
You may decide to meet-up with others in The Humble Wagon community. While we think these meet-ups are fun (& a great time!), they will be at your own expense and you accept all responsibility for attending. The Humble Wagon cannot be held liable for any physical or financial loss or for the actions of others who might attend (including other members of The Humble Wagon crew).
If there is anything you disagree with during the term of your involvement, please feel free to email us directly at ambassador@thehumblewagon.com. If for some reason we can't work things out, we would expect you to simply leave the program. You will agree that there will be no initiation or participation in any litigation over any aspect of The Humble Wagon social program or participation in it.
By applying for our Ambassador program, you are confirming and accepting that the duration of your time as an Ambassador is within a 3-month time span. To continue the program, please email ambassador@thehumblewagon.com with your full name, Instagram username, your personal discount code and your sharable coupon code.
If you would like to be removed from the program at any time please just email us at ambassador@thehumblewagon.com or simply message us directly on Slack! We can easily remove you with no problem!
Please be aware that once you have been removed, the two codes that you were provided with will no longer be valid.
Community Guidelines
Our goal is to build a strong community of amazing individuals who want to inspire a cruelty-free lifestyle around the world. It's important for members to feel like they are in a safe place that is populated by people with shared interests. As such, we request that you read and adhere to the guidelines that follow:
- Treat others online as you would treat them in real life
- Be tolerant towards other's viewpoints; respectfully disagree when opinions do not align
- Respect the privacy and personal information of other Ambassadors
- Communicate with courtesy and respect
- Please do not make personal attacks on other Ambassadors
- Please do not use defamatory remarks or make false statements against others
- Please do not post prejudiced comments or profanity
- Please do not bully or make inflammatory remarks to other Ambassadors
- Use our messaging system responsibly. These tools are intended to keep Ambassadors in touch with one another as well as communication with us directly!
Consequences:
We will take action when we see someone violating these guidelines. Sometimes that just means giving someone a warning; other times it means permanent removal from the Ambassador Program. We request that all community members report behavior that violates our guidelines to ambassador@thehumblewagon.com.
